I have a huge passion for cooking, I love “getting my hands dirty” and I think I was born with a ladle in my hand.
My name is Alessandro, I am 35 years old, I was born in Ciociaria with a passion for cooking. My journey started very early. Still too small to reach the stove, I was standing on a stool trying to reproduce home recipes and I loved cooking for my family and myselfs. Flavors, smells and ingredients have captured me to the point that my passion had to morf into my future profession. Feel free to ask relatives and childhood friends, they will reply that “yes, my place has always been the kitchen”, therefore, during my teen years I attended the Professional Hotel Institut, and, right afterward, I was ready to begin. I started as an assistant cook, my first experience, at just 16 years of age, was in Trentino Alto Adige, in a town called Folgaria. At the end of the winter season, I moved to Savona, working in a restaurant on the Ligurian Sea. These were years of intense training, after which, I returned to my birth-region and refined my skills in various luxury hotels. At first I ventured in Fiuggi, a renown thermal luxury site, where I met my current managers, who are also my closest collaborators and great friends, and then I moved to the capital, Rome, where I had the opportunity to work for many years in a 4-Star Superior Hotel and to collaborate with numerous restaurants both in Rome and in Ciociaria.
